Through the window, the roof I remember;
the sky we sat and stared forever.
Back then we were dancers, you and I,
our memories we thought would last forever.
On the rooftop, the stars were mine,
you and I, we sat forever.
Those nights I can still remember,
they'll haunt me until I die.
You're the only thing I'll see forever;
even though you're no longer mine.

Good piece on lost love, good imagery that speaks to everyone..but tell me David tell me this - how can you tag the poem "nostalgia" at your age?

well although I may still be young I have a tendancy to live in the past... almost everyday I wish that I could go back in time to relive moments that have already passed.
Nice poems, young dude! Like the honesty of the emotions and the rhyme scheme works well in many of them. Keep at it, you will have a nice body of work! -stellablue312
