I think I might want to fall in love
And lay next to you every night until I die.
I want to find you and whisper in your ear,
Hold you tight and squeeze you until I find my breath.
I want to save your life and kiss your forehead,
Tell you that everything will be okay—
I want to take you to Paris and watch the stars
And remind you of the years that we should have shared.
I think I might want to fall in love when I find you;
I’ll be a concrete wall so you can watch me crumble—
I’ll come running when I hear your voice.
Let me be the humility in your own eyes,
Tell me that you never want to see me leave,
I think I might want to fall in love,
I might want to fall in love with you tonight.
