I’ll say I’m sorry until the day I die,
But I can’t forget the look on your face.
It hurts me to hear your goodbyes—
I’m left empty, searching endless
Across the world and back again.
You left me broken, half finished—
You left me questioning myself
And anything I’ve ever believed in.
Upon your return my words will hinder,
Sanity stolen, my eyes are left hazy—
For true beauty stands before me.
Memories shared and memories lost,
Once and for all we stand apart.
