The World As I've Seen

I never want to leave this moment, I can’t breath—
If I said I miss you, you would not understand.
I’m bleeding teardrops of the days gone by,
Pitifully grasping dreams that last through time
I can’t remember what ever changed—
But I would give the world just to find it again.
A thousand voices may pass and falter—
But at the end of the day only one remains.
I don’t want to be a shell of what I once was
But I get afraid when the light goes out.
Reality twisted to the orchestra of the same voices—
There’s a world below I’ve never seen,
Nothing but sky above but still I dream—
The memory tender, the world as I’ve seen.
