Lying face down in the streets,

Praying to stay sane, never giving in

I don’t always say what I mean

But then again I don’t always win

I’d rather not fall in love

Don’t want to pray for distance

Then again it might be fun

Might never be a difference

Biting my lips, sitting in the rain

A bus will take me away

Out the window, staring at stars again

I thought that I heard your voice

But there’s no one left around

I’ve forgotten how to breathe

I’ve learned I’ll never get out of this town
